Equipping Members for Gift-based Ministry
In accordance with the Biblical mandate given to leaders in Ephesians 4:12, the Personal Ministries Department of the Toms River Seventh-day Adventist church will assist in “..the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”
Ministry Theme:
“Prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.” [Amos 4:12]
Purpose
To provide resources and equip members to unite their efforts with those of the pastor and church officers in soul-winning service.
Mission
The Toms River Personal Ministries Department will cooperate with the church’s leadership in facilitating the development of a spiritually nurturing environment wherein the church’s Mission (Matthew 28:19-20) and Message (Revelation 14:6-12) will be activated in the lives of each member, resulting in an increased passion for souls and service.
Vision
The establishing of a healthy church in the Toms River, New Jersey area – one that places emphasis on interacting with the local community, providing opportunities for soul winning, nurturing of its members, and the developing of Christ-centered leadership.
